As I was going through my blog today, I realized, lately, that it had become a sort of bleak and dark. Like the dark shadows, as you, enter, wrapping you up, and all you could feel was dark, and nothing but dark.
But, when you go through my blogs and the whole theme and the central ideas of what I have written or I write, and if you pause for a minute and observe deeply with all your consciousness, you will find that it is not actually dark. The blog is not bleak. The words actually are there to teach you something and that at last when you end up reading any of the topic I have published here, you will be leaving with a lesson learned for lifetime.
And I believe, whatever teaches you something, seems bleak and rough and dark at first, but makes you stronger and wiser!
So, I thought to make my blog look positive and glowing and shining.
Am I going to motivate you like the big daddy’s motivating the social media owls there? No.
Because, I do not believe in external motivation. External motivation does not last long. But that does not mean it is not good or not useful. It certainly is useful, but it does not last longer. You may feel good for an hour or a day or may be a week after listening to those goose bump giving motivational videos or speeches, but in the longer period of timeline, the effect of that diminishes and the marginal utility may drop to zero.
Internal motivation is forever. Internal motivation i.e. motivation within is what lasts longer. Internal motivation is what forced some ordinary college dropouts and intelligently unemployed people to create an extraordinary life. Internal motivation is what leads to creating an impact on this world, and in lives of people.
And I believe, until and unless you are motivated by something big and internally, you ain’t gonna create an impact or an extraordinary life. Now, extraordinary here does not mean making Space rockets like Elon Musk did. Extraordinary for people like you and me is to get a hard earned job, living a satisfied life, making our parents proud of us, making your spouse happy and satisfied, making your children proud of you and satisfying their wishes at times. Extraordinary for us can be fulfilling the basic necessities without having to work two jobs a day.
And then extraordinary for people like you and me can be- getting to see your family smiling on seeing you when you come home after a tiring day at duty!
And that, if you are reading this at this very moment, and if you have a shelter, some food, some money in your pocket, eyes healthy enough to read this, hands flexible enough to hold onto the device until you read this, a working brain sharp enough to understand the language and words and meaning of this content; you are lucky enough!
And that you have to feel at this very moment, without thinking about the next moment or day or the life ahead or the miseries or the pain you are going through these days; forget everything, believe that everything is going to be alright, and realize that Life is Good..
